Anniversary Stew

I made this for Sawa on our second Anniversary
Ingredients
  • 1 pound beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 4 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 bay leaf
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
Instructions
  1. Place meat in slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl mix together the flour, salt, pepper, and thyme, pour over meat, and stir to coat meat with flour mixture.
  3. Stir in the garlic, bay leaf, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, Balsamic, onion, wine, beef broth, potatoes, carrots, paprika, and celery.
  4. Cover, and cook on Low setting for 10 to 12 hours, or on High setting for 4 to 6 hours.
