Apple Sour Cream Pie

- 3 TB cold butter
- ¼ C flour
- ½ C grated old cheddar cheese
- ⅓ Br Sugar
- 1 froz pie shell
- 3 TB rolled oats
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Filling: 8 Apples Mcintosh or Spy peeled and cored and sliced thick. (1/3 in) In lg bowl whisk ¼ C sour cr.,1 egg,3 TB sugar, ¼ tsp cinnamon, pinch of nutmeg and pinch of salt - stir in apples put into pie shell and press down -0 should be heaped - sprinkle crumbs over evenly Set pie on a baking sheet to bake
- Bake on bottom rack at 425 for 10 min, then reduce to 350 and bake until apples are tender - about 40 to 45 min.. Let stand for 15 min before slicing and serving or when cool - keeps 3 days in fridge.
